See It, Splat It!
See it, SPLAT IT! is a fun educational trip themed card game to play at school, home or on a trip.
Why not take it on your next educational visit?
This game is based on the 1976, Kirkman's schoolgirl problem consisting of a set of 31 cards each with six images of insects, with exactly one image shared between each pair of them.
How to play See it, SPLAT IT!
There are 57 cards, each with eight pictures related to school trips and outdoor learning. There is always one matching image between cards – the trick is to see it, and SPLAT IT!
You can play See it, SPLAT IT! in lots of different ways, you can even make up your own rules. Here’s one suggestion:
‘All gone!’
The aim of the game is to get rid of all your cards.
1. Place one card face down in the centre and deal the rest of the cards face down equally between players.
2. When you’re ready to start, turn the centre card over. Each player turns over their top card and tries to find a match with the centre card. There is DEFINITELY a match.
3. The first one to find it, shouts the name of the matched image and then places their card on the central pile.
4. Play continues until one player has got rid of all their cards. (you can keep going until all the cards are gone if you like!)
